Overview
Haptics, sensors, and new technologies are enabling art where your body becomes the material for the work yet the field has little terminology, few shared references, and no defined frameworks. Body of Work started from a set of questions with no clean answers: how do we exhibit an art form that can't be photographed? How do we fund it, evaluate it, and build a language for it?
Co-initiated with Jakob Skote, the event brought together eight artists in Sweden who are actively defining this field. The format was designed as an arena for connection: live performances and documentary screenings shown side by side, with talks and workshops woven in, building a space where the field could encounter itself.
